WE DID IT!

Yes, the motley-crew of ragtag runners from FaithActs made it safely through the race set before us! And in that process raised close to $35,000 for the works of FaithActs!

We thank all the runners for their persperations and the generous donors who gave, believing that we could crossed the line and live to tell the tale! Because of your great act of compassion and generosity, the work of FaithActs among the students and at-risk teens can be more effectively carried out. God bless your cheerful giving hearts!

To date, more than 900 children, youths, single parents and families have passed through the doors of FaithActs. We need all the support from donors and friends who care like the Lord cares...  "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." (Mark 2:17) and that  the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost." (Luke 17:10) How we all need that call and the touch of our Lord.

Make a date this coming 10th January 2009 and be inspired by Dr William Tan who will be sharing his challenges and experiences in his talk entitled OVERCOMING ALL ODDS, at our Flag-On Celebration. Be amazed and inspired by his willpower of turning adversityinto advantage and achieving success against all odds. Dr William Tan, born 1957, contacted polio at the age of 2 and was paralysed from waist down. Amazingly, he is a neuro scientist, wheelchair marathon athlete and dynamic motivational speaker and author. He is the first perosn in the world to undertake a wheelchair push in Antarctica, and has also completed countless marathons and in 2005, he completed a staggering 10 marathons in 7 countries in 65 days!

Once again... thanks for your support!
